I can't remember where I saw it, but I'm looking for a pedalboard that you individually patch your pedals into (instead of a chain), the unit also has a few buttons to where you can run "patches" of your effects in different configurations.
I guess if I had to come up with a name for it, it would be called a 'signal chain selector'
Has anyone seen anything remotely clos to this, or possibly know someone who can build one?

Mon, January 2, 2006 - 12:23 PMa good place to start would be www.geofex.com, I think they have some schematics for switching boxes.
it also depends how complicated you want to get. I put all mine on a big plastic cutting board, drilled holes and screwed them on, have a couple chains selected by an A/B box.
a more complicated switching box with separate loops for effects can be done also.
