I love the Alesis Bit-R-Man with it's ability to distress and chop up and make lo-fi the sound.

For a while, Musicians Friend was blowing these expensive puppies out for 40 and 50 bucks. I kick myself for not buying two at the time, they were so cheap.

Michael Klobuchar just used two of them with two Alesis INEKO's in his set of looped guitar at the Zurich Live Looping FEstival that I just returned from performing at. He is getting really fucking wild guitar sounds out of it.
